Richard Zoccolillo President, Pluggables

Rich Zoccolillo is the president of the Opnext Pluggables business unit, with responsibility for coordinating all product development, manufacturing, management and sales activities. Formerly general manager for Lucent Metro WDM Business, Mr. Zoccolillo spearheaded Lucent's drive into the Metro WDM market. While at Lucent, Mr. Zoccolillo also served as director of product management for the Lucent SONET systems in the US, spending two years in Germany to focus on SDH systems, and held a variety of significant positions in Lucent's Consumer Product Organization. Prior to his Lucent tenure, Mr. Zoccolillo held positions at AT&T, within the ATM Network Planning committee, the international ATM Standards committee, and cellular system product development.
